Elder Hymas' Italian Mission

  This week was good today was transfers but I sort of had mine early, as in last week. I was expecting to leave but instead and I might have been slightly irritated if I didn't receive an Italian comp............... I wrote this on pday last week but didn't finish it nor send it. Now though I am sitting in the dentist office as my companion gets his wisdom tooth removed. On top of that we both got a cold and have been dealing with that, but it is just a cold so it is light work. We had a lesson with our simpatizzante Salvatore. We started of the lesson asking him what the pure love of Christ is to him and his response, although long, was a great testimony and I enjoyed what he said about Christ loving us an incomprehensible about always and forever despite our inability to pay back the smallest amount of our debt to him. Then again this morning (Monday) I was studying in Matthew 18 and Jesus gives a little parable about forgiveness and such in which a servant owed the Lord 10,

We dropped off our 3 companion today at the train station, now It is just Anziano DeBeikes and I. I am super excited to continue and learn with him, we should learn Italian a lot more because we are planning on speaking it a lot, we did it pretty decently when we were in 3 but naturally it was difficult. I really haven't written a good email like this in a  hot minute, this transfer is almost over, Anziano SZVOBODA will leave for sure, we expect that Anziano DeBeikes and I will remain, but that isn't for sure. Whatever will be good though. Uh I kinda forgot how to do these Emails, but this trio is so much fun everyday, and I have glad to have both of my companions to learn from them and other stuff. I finished the Book of Mormon again today (first time on the mission) there was some Scriptures I liked the other day in other when it talkes about our weaknesses, but anyway through are weakness we work, we become better and they can become our strengths eventually. The other day we were going on a train to Genova for our exchanges, but public transportation in Italy is really bad, it always seems to go the wrong way, so the other day on the train we ended up like 20 minutes from France then we had to get off and turn around (we were on the train going in the wrong direction for li

The trio is so fun!  Okay story time, I ain't gonna do it justice, but I'll tell y'all the story.  It was a dark cold Italian night. We were getting back a little late from this ysa activity. And we got to the bus stop and there were 2 Africans there, we started talking to them a little bit, unfortunately I am unable to recall was exactly, but nevertheless while were were talking to them a bus came around this corner and the short African ( he had a fun little face, like not ugly, but fun, it is hard to explain) and he was like "that's our bus. We gotta go." In the most serious voice ever. And they just take off sprinting to a different stop to beat that bus, luckily that was our bus too, so we just take off with them running though some crowds and such. After we hopped on the bus with then it was the classic who are you guys, why are you here. Got em. I am no longer in Alessandria, I am in Torino or Turin in English. They closed Alessandria for the Anziani because there is a shortage of Anziani in the mission. It is really sad to leave them... but now I am in a trio in Torino with Anziano Szvoboda (who was in the MTV with me ) and Anziano DeBeikas but spelt right lol. This will be fun. They are both cool fun guys. Anziano Szvoboda is from Switzerland and is like 22 the other is from California like 19. I am excited to meet new people and use this as an opportunity to keep changing, my language is not very good yet, but with these two I hope to continue  to improve. I will upload pictures some point dab. Anyway, it was cool yesterday we had a meeting with Daniele in person, the first time since we met him, it was so awesome, he has such strong faith in Christ, such a desire and he is very funny and a little weird, but weird is normal. We gave him a baptism date for the 14th of December. He is going to continue reading and praying.

Okay this week was good. Had fufu and did things. It is cool seeing members help the recent converts victor and Betty. Betty gave a talk last week too, we helped write it with her. Being kind is the way to go, help others minister. Be selfless. Okay bye Vi amo Anziano Hymas  

So on sunday afternoon my Companion didn't feel well, but we had a lunch appointment, so we went and ate, some chicken ribs lasagna potatoes, you know. The  after that appointment we went back to the house for Anziano Taylor to lay down, because he wasn't feeling well at all.  he layed down for a couple hours I just cleaned the whole house. Then I started studying,  and I heard him throw up (I got him a throw up bowl though) so after he was down throwing up I went into the room to check on him, because usually you feel better after you throw up ya know? But not this time he just turned to me a was like "I can't move my hands" and his hands were stuck in like the special needs position, and he was in a lot of pain and he said he could feel it moving up, and it wasn't stopping and the pain was a lot and we didn't know what was going on so he told me to call President. President effectively said he will call us back once the talk to the mission doctor.
